The Lot-2 substation project “ Design, Supply and Install 132/33kv Substation at Joypurhat and Panchagar and Extension of Existing 132/33kv Naogaon and Thakurgaon Substation on Turnkey Basis” constructed by CCCE was taken over officially by Power Grid Company of Bangladesh ( “PGCB” ) on February 22^nd 2011. The capacity of power transmission will be improved enormously in northwest Bangladesh, and the deficiency of power supply situation will also be relieved accordingly due to successful completion of this project. It is quite significant that it will consolidate and strengthen the long term cooperation between PGCB and CCCE.
