The advance payment for CIF Portion has been received by CCC Engineering Ltd. (CCCE) for the project funded by Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad. The same for Local Services Portion has also been received a day earlier. So far, the advance payment has been all received to an amount of USD6,926,561.20, which is equivalent to Chinese Renminbi Yuan around 45.87 million.

The contract was signed on 10th March, 2010, which includes works as about 220 km 115kV second circuit stringing works, 12 km new double circuit 115kV transmission lines, extension of 5 nos of 115kV existing substation, construction of 3 nos of 115kV new substation, etc.. The contract value is USD34,632,806.00, which is equivalent to CNY2.36 billion or so at the time being.

At present, active preparation works are under mobilization. CCCE will do its best endeavours to ensure possible earlier completion of the Project without jeopardizing quality.
