President Mr.Yan Wei signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement on Global Market with CEO of MAN Diesel & Turbo SE (www.mandieselturbo.com) Dr.Rene Umlauft in The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Beijing on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. MAN Diesel & Turbo SE China officials CEO Mr.Goetz Kassing, Head of Power Plant Mr.Ruilin Hu, Sales & Marketing Managers of Power Plant Mr.Sam Shen and Ms.Lisa Wang, and Vice President of CCCE Mr.Ye Liang attended the agreement signing ceremony.
Founded in 1758 in Germany, MAN Group (MAN) is a Fortune 500 industrial conglomerate with 62,000 employees in about 120 countries and regions. MAN Diesel & Turbo is the world market leader for large diesel engines for use in ships and power stations, and is one of the three leading suppliers of turbo machines. The diesel engine used in the Bangladesh KODDA 150MW power plant project, which is being executed currently by our company, is offered by MAN.
Late March of this year, President Mr.Yan Wei and Vice President Mr.Ye Liang paid a special visit to MAN headquarter in Munich. Apart from cordial discussion on the existing cooperation, both sides had exchanged broadly and comprehensively in the areas of project cooperation on global market. Both sides agreed to enter into a global strategic cooperation agreement in order to realize complementary advantages and achieve mutual trust and benefits so as to create a new chapter of cooperation between China and Germany in the field of power generation in global market. Dr.Umlauft visit to China this week officially opened a new page for the cooperation between CCCE and MAN.
