Mr. Soukanh and his entourage are listening to project introduction

Mr. Soukanh MAHALATH, Member of Secretariat of Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Party Secretary and Mayor of Vientiane Capital Laos, visited our substations under construction in Vientiane Capital Laos on 12th June, 2012, accompanied by Mr. Viraphonh VIRAVONG, Vice Minister of Ministry of Energy and Mines, Mr. Sisavath THIRAVONG, Managing Director of Electricite Du Laos, Ministry of Energy and Mines.

"The Project is processing well and we are confident the substations will be finished on time," Mr. Sisavath told Vientiane Times, the first English newspaper in Laos, during the visit.

Mr. Soukanh and his entourage were happy with project proceedings, and also emphasized on the importance of the Project to the coming 9th Aisa-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Summit in November.

Laos will host the 7th Asia-Europe Parliamentary Partnership Meeting in October and the ASEM Summit on November 5-6.
