On 20^th June, 2011, CCC Engineering LTD(CCCE) and North-West Power Generation Co., LTD (North-West) signed the project contract for 132 kV GT Substation and 132 kV Double Circuit Underground Cable at Khulna on Turnkey Basis. The project manager of CCCE, Mr. D.K.M. Fazlul Huq, and the representatives from North-West Company attended the signing ceremony. CCCE will provide the supply, installation, testing and commissioning works for the project. After the completion of Lot-1 and Lot-2 Power Station, this is the third cooperation project between CCCE and North-West Company after CCCE entered the Bangladesh power market.

    This project was successfully bid by the Joint Venture of CCCE and Jiangsu Etern Co., LTD, and it has begun at the beginning of 2012. In the past few years, with the advantages of advanced technology, and reliable quality, service and reputation, CCCE has won the approval of the Bangladesh Power Development Board and other customers in Bangladesh, and has become an important contractor in Bangladesh power sector.

    This project has the contract amount of RMB 60 million, and the construction period of 11 months. It has been planned to be completed and put into operation on 23^rd November 2013. Nowadays, the power shortage in Bangladesh is more and more obvious, and the completion of this project will be helpful to relieve the pressure of power shortage in Bangladesh Khulna area, and also be helpful to reduce the living costs of local people and improve their livelihood. Therefore, this project not only helps our company accumulate precious experience of turnkey basis project in oversea power market, but also it bears great significance to the development of Bangladesh Khulna area.
