At 14:08 local time on November 5th, 2020 in Bangladesh, Shahjibazar 100MW Gas Turbine Power Plant contracted by CCCE was successfully synchronized and connected to the grid.

The Owner of the Plant is Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB). The Gas Turbine is GE LMS100, which is the largest aero-type GT in the world and has the advantages of fast start-up and high degree of automation, also can well meet the peak load operation. This LMS100 Aero Turbine is the first unit achieving synchronization in Bangladesh and even in Asia.
