On 3rd January 2013, CCCE and Bangladesh BPDB-RPCL Powergen Ltd formally signed the contract of 150MW Duel Fuel (HFO/Gas) Power Plant Project. On 23rd October 2013, the Bangladesh Ministry of Finance Secretary-General Mr. A.R.M Nazmus Sakib, and the Export-Import Bank of China representatives—Vice President Mr. Feng Zengbing, Division Chief Miss Xiong Jie, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China representatives—Vice President Mr. Qian Qun, Deputy General Manager Mr. Su Wei, Mr. Cai Xiang, formally signed the Sovereign Guarantee Agreement for 150MW Duel Fuel Power Plant Project. The Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh Counselor Mr. Wang Zijian,  CCCE President Mr. Yan Wei, Chief Representative in Bangladesh Mr. Hua Jie, Project Manager Mr. Zheng Minjie also attended the signing ceremony as witness. This project is the first successfully signed commercial financing power plant project between China and Bangladesh, and it will definitely further broaden CCCE’s influence and market in Southeast Asia power industry.
