On January 3^rd, 2013, CCC engineering Ltd. (CCCE) and BPDB - RPCL Powergen Ltd. (Powergen) formally signed contract of KODDA 150 mw power plant project in Bangladesh. CCCE deputy General manager Mr Xu Gongsheng, Chief Representative of Bangladesh Mr Piao WuCheng , Project manager Mr Zheng MinJie and Additional secretary(Development) of Power Division of MPEMR of Bangladesh Mr Md. Mofazzal Hossain, Chairman of Bangladesh Power Development Board Mr Md. Abdul Wahab Khan, Chairman of REB Brig. General moin uddin attended the signing ceremony.

The Kodda project will be executed jointly by CCCE and Jiangsu Etern co., LTD., Fujian Electric Power Engineering Company, with construction duration of 450 days. The total project contract is about $160 million, financing by China Import and Export bank. The project owner is BPDB - RPCL Powergen Ltd, funded by BPDB and RPCL. Project main equipment will be selected from MAN Diesel & Turbo SE, Germany. The coming power plant will provide stable power to Dhaka, Capital of Bangladesh, relieve the electricity tension situation effectively.
